Welcome to Salem Biblical Garden, a cherished vision born from our deep love for Israel, the land of the Bible, and its rich cultural tapestry.

After serving as South African Trade Attaché in Israel, my wife Annalee and I were captivated by the country's beauty and biblical significance. This passion led us to establish Salem Biblical Garden on a picturesque 10-hectare hillside near Paarl, Western Cape. Here, among wild olive trees and granite rocks reminiscent of Gethsemane, we've created a place where the stories of the Bible come alive.

Our garden invites visitors on a transformative journey through biblical themes, from Genesis to the promise of Messiah's return. Amidst natural fynbos and century-old olive trees, you'll find sculptures, mosaics, and exhibits that evoke the essence of ancient Israel.

Beyond exploration, Salem offers a range of activities for families and groups. Enjoy guided walks, picnics under shady trees, and children's playgrounds amidst expansive lawns. Our venue also hosts weddings, conferences, and celebrations, with facilities including an outdoor stage and two function halls.
