February 2020 Updates

Writer: ulfdieterkoepp1979ulfdieterkoepp1979

In 2015, archaeologists announced that they had discovered a bulla (a clay impression of a seal) of the prophet Isaiah. The seal in question is inscribed with the name “Yesha‘yah[u],” Hebrew for “Isaiah,” followed by the word “nvy.” The seal is dated to the 8th Century BCE which was discovered in First Temple remains near Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, according to Hebrew University archaeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar.

Exciting stuff indeed! May you have a wonderful month of February!
